Task — Create a new brand identity for a film festival.

onedotzero is a film festival that pushes the boundaries of bleeding-edge film. So it needed a new identity that did the same.

We collaborated with a brilliant coder (Karsten Schmidt) to create a generative brand identity powered by tweets about the festival.

The identity ran in print, motion graphics and also as Nokia phone controlled 50m outdoor installation at the British Film Institute, London.

One of the first ever generative branding projects and possibly the first to be open-sourced.
